You must have an alarm com account or alarm system capable of alarm com to be able to use these cameras and Z-Wave devices.
This Z-Wave/Alarm com device will already work with the following alarm systems.
However, you may have to upgrade your account to allow the use of the Alarm.com cameras and/or Z-Wave Home Automation devices:

If you have an alarm system with these companies and do not have one of the above systems but want to add video, you must call them to add an alarm com GSM. This will allow your alarm system to send signals without a phone line, you will have internet & SmartPhone access to your alarm system and it will allow you to add video if requested.
There will be a small monthly fee from your alarm company to add the alarm com equipment and features. Then you can buy your cameras here.
On a basic video account with these systems and companies, you can have a total of 4 cameras. If you can get your security company to upgrade your video account, you can have 8 total Alarm com cameras.
You can buy your cameras here and program them into your system yourself (It?s very easy). No need to pay a tech to come out.
